EPFO ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0’ outreach prog in Kohima

DIMAPUR, JUNE 25 (MExN): The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Dimapur, will organise ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0’, an outreach and awareness programme, at M/s Nagaland Mineral Development Corporation Ltd, below AG Office, AG Colony, Kohima–797001, on June 27 from 10 AM onwards.

The initiative aims to strengthen stakeholder engagement, address grievances, and enhance awareness about EPFO schemes and digital services.

Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-II, Dimapur, Samuel Das, along with the SSO Dimapur team, will be present to directly interact with workers, employers, and industry representatives. The session will also provide handholding support to those requiring assistance with provident fund-related matters.

Key areas to be covered include guidance on filing grievances through EPFiGMS, CPGRAMS and other portals; awareness on digital services such as e-nomination, online claim filing, KYC updates in UAN, and usage of the Principal Employer Dashboard. The programme will also address employee rights and employer responsibilities under social security provisions including provident fund, pension, and insurance benefits.

A special pension help desk will be set up to resolve pension-related grievances on the spot.

EPFO has urged subscribers, pensioners, establishments, employee representatives, and industry chambers to actively participate in the event. Employers have also been encouraged to ensure coverage of all eligible employees under social security benefits from the first day of employment.

The Employees’ Pension Scheme (1995) and Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme (1976), offering coverage of up to ₹7 lakh, are available to workers in Nagaland.

Stakeholders are invited to share feedback and suggestions during the session to help improve EPFO services.
