ESB meets Invest India, discusses collaboration with Nagaland startups

DIMAPUR, JULY 28 (MExN): EduCentre School of Business, an incubator under startup Nagaland, Government of Nagaland met with Invest India team- which is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency that helps investors looking for investment opportunities and options in India.

According to a press release issued by Educentre School of Business, the Invest India team led by their Chief Operating Officer (COO) Priya Rawat discussed potential collaboration of Nagaland startups with eco system players specially building market linkages and strong investor network. 

There was also discussion around fostering collaboration and partnership among entrepreneurs in the North-East region to facilitate numerous businesses and startups, the press release stated. 

The meeting was an outcome of an invitation by the Startup Seed Fund Secretariat for the inauguration of the International Convention Centre at ITPO on July 26 in Delhi. The new centre was inaugurated by Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.

Mention may be made that in January 2023, Educentre School of Business became the first incubator from the North-East to be nominated for Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS). The ESB team, meanwhile, acknowledged the significant role played by startup Nagaland to build the eco system of startups/ entrepreneurship in Nagaland and IDAN who has been facilitating opportunities for investors, companies and local youths.
