Essay competition on HIV/AIDS awareness

KOHIMA, SEPTEMBER 12 (MExN): In response to the National AIDS Control Organization's (NACO) 2-month-long intensified (IEC) Campaign, the Red Ribbon Club of Baptist Theological College (BTC), Pfutsero, organized essay competition on "Breaking Barriers: HIV/AIDS Awareness in the Digital Age" on September 11 at the college premises.

The focal point of the competition was to create awareness about HIV and AIDS among students through creative expression and short impactful messages, encouraging a deeper understanding and sensitivity towards the issue.

Altogether, 16 students participated in the competition and demonstrated their knowledge and awareness on the topic. The results were announced on September 12 during the BTC Literary Day and Annual College Award Ceremony.

The top three winners were honored with cash prizes by guest speaker, Er Vethivolu Nyekha, SDO (R&B), Pfutsero Division.
