‘Euphoria 2016’ cultural cum sports festival

Kohima, November 25 (MExN): The cultural cum sports festival ‘Euphoria 2016’ of Don Bosco College Kohima was organized at its campus.   The Festival was inaugurated by K.D Vizo IT commissioner & Secretary on November 21. The closing ceremony was graced by Rukuo Paul, President Catholic Union Christ King Church, Kohima.   Students took part in indoor and outdoor sports events like tug-of-war, badminton, basketball, football, Naga wrestling, pillow fight, arm wrestling, athletic events, sack race, table tennis, carom, and chess. All the students and staff members witnessed the sports meet and cheered the participants.   Naga Cultural day consisted of following competitions, Traditional Song, Traditional dance, Traditional instrumental piece and Naga folk tales. Likewise Western day consisted of western song, dance, instrumental pieces, advertisements, mimicry and Skit.   The students competed in four groups namely Persians, Romans, Titans and Trojans. Titans emerged as the champion of Euphoria 2016.   Tsutshowe-U Sekhamo, coordinator of Euphoria 2016 in a press release thanked the staff and students for their support and cooperation. Overall, Euphoria 2016 was quite an active, enthusiastic and thrilling event and proved to be a great stimulant for one and all.
