Dimapur, May 15 (MExN): Euro International School celebrated Mother’s Day at the Lions Club Dimapur with various activities and games on May 14. As the theme of the programme was 'Memories of 1970s', all the mothers were dressed in costumes of the early 1970s and celebrated the day, which was specially dedicated to them, informed the school principal Sandeep K Jain in a press note. Welcoming the gathering, the principal stressed on the importance of Mother’s Day – a day for honouring mothers and motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society, it said. Mothers are the guiding forces and responsible for making us who we are and no language can express the power and beauty of a mother’s love, which is infinite, limitless and vast, he added. During the event, mothers participated in different activities and games including a ramp walk by all the mothers.
