Eurokids Dimapur wins National Award

DIMAPUR, APRIL 22 (MExN): Eurokids International School, Dimapur has emerged as one of the winners of the best ambience of the year award at the Eurokids Excellence Awards 2013. The award ceremony was held on April 17 in Mumbai. Principal of the Eurokids International School, Dimapur, Sandeep K Jain informed that the school emerged as a winner out of one thousand schools who were also nominated in this category of award.  He stated that a survey had been conducted a few months ago to determine the quality of the school.

The award is given to the best emerging school on the basis of their excellence in infrastructure, setup and arrangement. The school which is run by Sandeep K Jain and Rajesh Malani, Eurokids Dimapur bagged this award in the very first year of its commencement. It was informed that there was a high amount of appreciation from the jury of the excellence awards as the school comes from a very remote part of the country, where the education system still requires major upliftments.

The Principal of Eurkids Dimapur informed that currently the school has playgroup and nursery classes; however, he added that the school would be upgrading itself every year. He added that the school offers a “child friendly environment.” It further has a specially arranged indoor play zone, a splash pool, a specially designed gym for children, a sand pit for different educational activities, and a puppet theater. He further stated that the school also has classrooms equipped with audio visual equipments.

Jain stated that Eurokids Dimapur was established in April 2012 to create an advanced educational facility to the students. It may be noted that besides the playschool, Eurokids Dimapur has also started the Euro school of Fine Arts which offers certified courses on art, craft and calligraphy to students above 5 years from other schools. It also organizes an exclusive summer camp/carnival in the month of July every year.
