EUUN demands top priority for employment

Kohima, July 14 (MExN): The Educated Unemployed Union, Nagaland (EUUN), has informed government departments, agencies and companies operating in Nagaland that the members of EUUN must be given the top priority for employment and self-employment in various schemes.

“Private companies/agencies must provide 100% of vacancies of jobs to the indigenous Nagas of Nagaland. Private companies/agencies intending to fill up vacancies of positions must clearly indicate nature of jobs, salary, emoluments, place of postings, educational qualifications, registration number and head office,” stated EUUN president, Achilo Thong, and secretary (awareness & grievances), Toketo H Sema, in joint release received here today.

This is in order to check and prevent offers of false job opportunities with deceptive and ill intention, the release stated while adding that on failure on the part of the mentioned agencies to do so, “the EUUN shall be compelled to take its own course of action for which it shall not be held responsible.”
