Phek, March 9 (MExN): St. John School, Razeba conducted one day seminar for the parents on March 4 with the topic, ‘How parents can help their children at home.’ Rev. Fr. Dr. Philip Abraham SJ Principal of Nazareth High school, Pfutsero was the resource person. At outset of the seminar, School Children presented a welcome song and invocation was pronounced by Vekuyi Dozo.
The resource person told the parents that every child is a precious gift of God and therefore every parent has a role to play in educating the child in collaboration with the school authority. He emphasized the importance of parents keeping constant in touch with their children’s performance and give constructive feedback to the concern authority for improvement. He added, a good parent will always encourage and support to the Institution by taking a special care of the child at home. He also interacted with the teachers and appreciated them for their selfless sacrifice they render to the Institution.
All together 80 parents participated in the seminar.
