
Wokha, April 18 (DIPR): As notified earlier by the Deputy Commissioner, Wokha, Dr. Manazir Jeelani Samoon, IAS clearance and removal of materials like building materials stone boulders, stone chips, sand, rods and off road vehicles lying along NH-2 and other town roads within Wokha town obstructing smooth flow of traffic and also causing blockage of drains along the road was carried out.
The District Administration along with Police and DBs on April 18 carried out eviction drive and clearance of buildings materials and unauthorized vehicles parked obstructing the flow of traffic in and around the town were seized.
Altogether six vehicles were towed and kept at DTO office and materials stocked along the road were given 48 hours time for removal of the same. All concerned have been directed not to dump building materials and off roads vehicles from the roadside.
