Dimapur, June 17 (MExN): The Ex. Underground Khellers of Industrial Village Razhüphe (IVR) has resolved to occupy the land allotted to the Ex. Underground for their rehabilitation which is presently under the temporary occupation of the NIDC and their entrepreneurs.
The Ex. Underground Khellers of Industrial Village Razhüphe resolved this during the general meeting held on March 22 at the residence of its Council Chairman TL Angami.
While informing this in a press release Theja Angami, Sessional Secretary, E. UG Kheller, IVRD said that “Ex. Underground khellers shall take any course of action deem fit against the NIDC and their entrepreneurs if they continue to go against the High Court standing order which restrained both the parties from doing any unwarranted and illegal activities but to maintained Status Quo till the matter is finalised by the appropriate Court Order Vide No. W.P. (C ) No. 25 (K)2003 and Case No. Civil Misc. No.29/10 in title suit No. 2/2005 Dated 12/07/10.”
The meeting further appealed to NIDC and their entrepreneurs to “immediately vacate the area so as to maintain cordial relationship as Naga brothers or else pay their land tax to Ex. Underground Khellers as ordered by the Council earlier.” Failing to comply with the above resolution, “it warned the NIDC and its entrepreneurs of any untoward incident arisen out of it shall be their sole responsible. Further, it strongly resolved that not even an inch of their land shall be given to NIDC and its entrepreneurs.”
In the meanwhile, the house had unanimously elected Imto Yimchunger as Ex. Underground Khel Chairman in place of Azuzu Thur and Lanutoshi as Khel Secretary respectively. However, till the Title Suit No.2/2005 is finalised from the Court, the Ex. UG khellers shall fight the same case in the name of Azuzu Thur and Logoshen as petitioner respectively.
