Kohima, July 9 (MExN): Nagaland’s Prison, Printing & Stationary, Advisor H Haiying flagged off an excavator (3DX Super CEV Stage 4) for Noklak district in the presence of well wishers and Noklak area leaders in Dimapur on July 9.
Haiying conveyed gratitude to Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio for actively taking special initiative to help the people of the Eastern region through the Department of NSDMA. “A much needed facility is provided to my people through the special intervention and initiative of Chief Minister and Advisor for CAWD & NSDMA Kazheto Kinimi,” he said.
He asserted that this will go a long way in ushering road repairing work and subsequent management thereof; especially during the monsoon season where natural calamities such as landslide and rock fall are random in occurrence - resulting in blockage and passage of normal flow of traffic and vehicular movements.
Haiying also stated that the excavator will be utilized not only for road management, but can be extensively used in applications such as plantation works and construction of rural roads and Agri-Link roads which will be helpful to the people in many areas.
