
Chennai, November 21 (MExN): The North East India Welfare Association Chennai (NEIWAC) initiated free coaching for UPSC aspirants in Chennai for students from the northeast in collaboration with the Excell Career India IAS Academy, stated a press release. The academy selected 13 students from northeast India with full scholarship for the whole course. Speaking on the inaugural and orientation program on November 20, Kalyan Sundaram, Director of Excell Career India, who is also a former civil servant from 1984 batch, motivated the northeast students saying, “civil services provide a great opportunity to serve the people and one can contribute immensely to the nation”. He also interacted with the students responding to queries. Wapangtoshi, President of NEIWAC while addressing the gathering thanked the Excell Career India for encouraging the young northeast people to compete for the civil services. He also mentioned that Kalyan Sundaram is the most successful former civil servant to be directly and fully involved to guide and help the people who aspire to become civil servants. “So far Excell Career India has produced many successful people in UPSC examinations as well as in other examinations” he said.
