Excise seizes illegal drugs in Kohima

Kohima, October 22 (MExN): Special Task Force, Excise Department, Kohima seized suspected Heroin drugs in Kohima on Friday, October 18. 

An update provided by the Deputy Commissioner of Excise (Zonal), Kohima, Venezolu Dawhuo stated that at  around 12:40 4M on a tip-off  about  a  possible  trafficking  of  suspected  Heroin  drugs  in  an  around  Kohima Town  area, the Excise team raided  a  hotel  located  at  Old  NST. 

“In  the process apprehended  Laivini  Thomas, 24 years for  possessing  9  soap  cases  of  suspected  Heroin  drugs  weighing  approximately 115  grams,” the Excise said. 

In  this  connection, a  case  has  been  registered  U/S  21 (b) of NDPS  Act  1985.
