Kohima, April 30 (MExN): Governor of Nagaland & Assam, PB Acharya today asserted that exploitation of workers is a crime and inhuman. “We should respect them (workers) and have parity in our behaviour with them,” the Governor stated in his May Day message released to the media. Recognizing that workers are creators of wealth in every field of life, he added work is worship. May Day, also known as International Workers’ Day or Labour Day in some places, is a celebration of labourers and the working classes and occurs every year on May Day, May 1. The Governor further appealed to all labour organisations to contribute towards building a ‘Swachh’, ‘Samriddh’, ‘Shashakt’, and ‘Niryog’ Bharat.
