Expression Life, a local handicraft store catering to the sale of home-decors and other related goods officially launched its online platform in the midst of guests, family, friends and well-wishers at Signal Basti, Dimapur on July 2.
L Mongkum Jamir, President, BAN, who was the special guest for the launching of the site, noted how Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are the backbone of the Indian economy as it constitutes 95% of the business sector. Further mentioning how MSMEs makeup 40% of all total exports and 6.11% of GDP from the manufacturing sector and generates about 11.2 crore of all employment.
Moreover he encouraged Naga entrepreneurs who deal in online retail business not to compromise on the quality of the products that they sell to the clients.
Tasang Imchen, Founder and CEO of Expression Life explained that the site was developed and created by the team at Milestone.co. Further mentioning that the prices on the website is the same in the retail stores, namely Fusion store, Dimapur, Crossword, Kohima, Made in Nagaland Expo Centre, Kohima and Wraps and Bows, Shillong.
She also states that all the products displayed at the physical store will be available in the official website.
