Phek, October 19 (MExN): Former Phek District Timbers Association (PDTA) Vice President Tsolomong Peri has stated that the allegation and expulsion against former President Sanyi and General Secretary Tsote Wezah from the association as ‘baseless and false.’
In a press release, he said “As the former Vice President of PDTA for two consecutive tenures, I have personally witnessed that Sanyi and Tsote Wezah have been working tirelessly for the welfare of the traders union shouldering many challenges and this allegations against them are baseless and fault.”
The two were earlier expelled of membership citing reasons of mismanagement of fund for last 13 years.
The former Vice President also claimed that “no such allegations has ever been discussed in any general meeting or either reported by any audit committee members. “ He therefore appealed “all the timber traders to be aware of such false allegations.”
