Kohima, August 31 (MExN): A farewell programme in honour of Nikhashe Sema, Commissioner & Secretary for Food & Civil Supplies and Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection took place here today at Civil Secretariat.
Pukhayi Sumi, advisor Food & Civil Supplies and Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection said that although the later have been retired from the active service, his guidance and wisdom will be required in the coming days as well. Sentirenla Ao, additional director, food & civil supplies appreciated the outgoing officer who worked selflessly for the department and brought drastic changes to the department.
Bizo Kuotsu, additional controller & HoD, legal metrology & consumer protection recalled that the outgoing officer had demonstrated exemplary example and push the department forward during his tenure.
Y .Akumla Walling, joint secretary spoke on behalf of Secretariat Staff. The function was chaired by C. Danted Phom, under secretary.
