Mokokchung: The faculty and staff of Fazl Ali College bid farewell to one of their senior colleagues, Akok Walling, Head of Department of Functional English. Akok Walling has been promoted as Principal, Wangkhao College at Mon.
Principal of Fazl Ali College, Chubayangla said that Akok Walling was an innovative and helpful member of the faculty and a pillar of the College. Fazl Ali College Teachers’ Association, President Tiarenla Aier said that he had been an active member and a former Secretary of the Association who had played key roles during crucial times. Vice Principal, Limatola Zulu acknowledged that his efforts led to the creation of the Functional English Department and from the Department of Functional English, Imsunaro said that he had the ability to spot talents of students and pay individual attention to them.
The outgoing officer Akok Walling gave credit to the College and his colleagues saying that all his achievements was because of the College. Akok Walling has served in the College for almost 30 years and is a recipient of the Governor's Award.
