FAC bids farewell to graduating batch of 2023–26

Mokokchung, April 14 (MExN): Fazl Ali College (FAC), Mokokchung, bid farewell to its graduating batch of 2023–26 with a parting social held on April 13, bringing together students, faculty, and college officials to mark the occasion.

The programme began with the reception of the outgoing students, followed by the college anthem. 

In his address, Principal Dr I Wati Imchen commended the graduating students for their resilience, perseverance, and commitment to learning.

Reflecting on their journey, he noted that these qualities would guide them in the years ahead. 

Dr Imchen also reminded them that challenges and uncertainties are inevitable, but emphasised the importance of facing them with courage and determination. Urging the students to dream big, he added that true success lies not only in achievements but in the impact one makes on society.

Extending best wishes, Y Yongkai Phom, Assistant General Secretary, FACSU, encouraged the outgoing batch in their future pursuits.

As part of the programme, Chubamenla Chang, Assistant Professor, Department of Geography, presented a song in honour of the graduating students. 

The outgoing batch, represented by Putusosang T Jamir (BA 6th Semester) and Tasakala (BSc 6th Semester), shared their experiences and expressed gratitude for the support and memories gained during their time at the college.

A special presentation by BA and BSc 6th Semester students was followed by a prayer led by Dr Imliwati Longkumer, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, informed a press release from the college.
