FAC conducts work ethics training for non-teaching staff

Mokokchung, May 12 (MExN): The Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung organised a one-day workshop on Work Ethics for Non-Teaching staff on 12 May with Akok Walling, Retd. Principal, Dimapur Government College and Rev Sentimeren Jamir, Associate Pastor, Mokokchung Town Baptist Church, as the resource persons.

In the first session, Walling shared on four principles of work ethics - working for livelihood, working out of interest, working to serve and work as a calling.

When people work out of interest, to serve and as a calling, the outcomes are fruitful, he said. 

If people work only for the salary or for money, they fail to contribute to the society and people might begin to start disregarding them which in turn will make them lonely, he added, which encouraging the staff to become individuals whom people can trust.
Rev Jamir, meanwhile, dwelt on work ethics from a biblical perspective. 

Each session was followed by discussion hour, informed a press release from the FAC. 

Vinod Kumar, Vice-principal, FAC, gave the welcome address while Mesutoba Ao, convenor, organising committee gave the vote of thanks.
