MOKOKCHUNG, AUGUST 5 (MExN): In a significant step towards fostering international academic collaboration, Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung, Nagaland, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sherubtse College, Royal University of Bhutan, Trashigang.
The MoU aims to strengthen academic cooperation, promote the exchange of teaching and research experiences, and build lasting relations between the two institutions. Both colleges have agreed to work together in areas of mutual interest while respecting each other’s independence and institutional integrity.
As per the agreement, the two higher education institutions will cooperate in several key areas including the exchange of academic materials and information, educational visits by faculty and researchers, student exchange programmes, joint international seminars and conferences, and collaborative research projects.
Fazl Ali College has designated the Convenor of its Research & Development Cell to oversee the implementation of the agreement, while Sherubtse College will be represented by the Office of the Dean of Research and Industrial Linkages.
The MoU will remain in effect for a period of five years from the date of signing and will be automatically extended unless either party provides a written notice of termination at least six months prior to the expiration.
The signing of the MoU marks a significant milestone for Fazl Ali College as it continues to expand its academic network beyond national borders. The collaboration is expected to open new avenues for students and faculty members alike, enriching their academic journey through cross-cultural and research-based engagements.
