Mokokchung, September 24 (MExN): The Red Ribbon Club (RRC) of Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung has concluded a series of awareness activities on HIV and AIDS as part of the Intensified IEC Campaign 2025.
According to a statement, the club organised interactive play and flashmob performances at various locations across Mokokchung on September 14, 17, and 23. The initiative aimed to disseminate crucial information on HIV prevention and reduce the stigma associated with the disease.
The venues included Medical Fellowship CEM, MTBA, Straightway Higher Secondary School, Mokokchung Compound Government High School, Mokokchung Village, the Mokokchung Municipal Complex, and the college campus.
The campaign witnessed active participation from students, teachers, and local residents, the statement noted. The use of creative performances was intended to engage the community in an accessible manner.
The activities were part of the broader Intensified IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) Campaign 2025, designed to empower communities with knowledge about testing and treatment.
