Minister for Rural Development and REPA, CL John on Wednesday inaugurated the newly constructed college building of Faith Theological College at Ura Villa Colony, Dimapur.
In his speech, John vouched for including Nagamese as a medium of education in theological colleges in the state since it was understood by Nagas of different states and even Myanmar.
He said Nagamese was a gift from God in a place where there were too many dialects and asserted that Nagamese can remove tribalism. The chief guest also urged upon NBCC to make minimum criterion and include people who want to be missionaries adding that the Church should look for commitment rather than qualification.
NBCC president Rev. Dr. Mar Atsongchanger said the dedicatory prayer for the new building.
