Faith Theological College observes Foundation Day

Faith Theological College, Dimapur held its Foundation Day on Sunday with Minister for Soil & Water Conservation, Geology & Mining, NSMDC Chairman, V Kashiho Sangtam as Special Guest.   Stating that God has given them specific responsibilities to be in the theological field, Sangtam called upon the theology students to fulfill their respective responsibilities.  

He pointed out that theology students have ample scope these days besides religious fields and added that they could be civil servants, legislators or be in any other secular services.  

“Naga society has reached the zenith of corruption and during such times if any theologians could become legislators then it will make a huge impact on the scenario of corruption in our society,” he said. In this connection, he called upon the youth to bring positive changes since the future is theirs adding, “you have to change, no one can change for you.” The legislator pointed out that even as the Naga society have been talking about clean election, the polls become more expensive and corrupt when real election time comes.  

During the programme, Founder Principal of FTC, Rev Dr S Gangte presented a brief report about the College while Board Member of the College, Imkongmeren Imsong also spoke briefly.
