Graduated students with dignitaries during 18th Concoctions on June 1.
Kohima, June 2 (MExN): The Faith Theological Seminary Jotsoma, Kohima has conducted its 18th Convocation on June 1. Altogether, 48 students were graduated.
Rev Dr Visielie Angami, principal FTS, conferred the Degree Certificate to the Graduates.
The valedictory message was delivered by Dr George Seb, Associate Academic Dean.
The speaker encouraged the graduates to view theological education not merely as an academic achievement but as a calling to faithful service and responsible witness in society.
The message emphasized integrity, humility, truth and perseverance urging the graduates to reflect the character of Christ in a world marked by confusion and spiritual exhaustion.
Zapra Chakhesang, Chairman Board of Directors shared greetings.
The Academic Excellence Award was received by Mhasikhonuo Thepa of M.Th. (DE), Kevingulie Pesochü of M. Div. (Regular), Komuni Khekho of M. Div. (DE), and Themboiching of B. Th.
Recipient of other awards include; Best Thesis award- Kevingulie Pesochü of M. Div.(Regular), Most Prayerful award- Rokuonguno Vihutsu of B.Th., Most Sincere student-Venolü of M.Div., Choir & Worship Best Leader- Veduzo Medeo of M.Div. and Best All- round student- Muzizo Lohe of M.Div.
Earlier, the service was led by Asola Jamir, Academic Dean. FTS Choir and Ngovetso Lohe, Music Teacher presented special songs.
