Kiphire, February 21 (MExN): A farewell programme in honour of the outgoing Deputy Commissioner Kiphire, John Tsulise Sangtam NCS was organised at DC conference hall, Kiphire on February 21.
Addressing the gathering, the outgoing DC John Tsulise Sangtam said that he had extended his best in discharging duties during short stay in Kiphire. Tsulise stated that he would continue to serve the people with same sincerity and commitment wherever he may be placed, a DIPR report stated. Tsulise also extended welcome to the new DC Kiphire, Temsuwati Longkumer commending him as a sincere and dedicated officer. “By extending our full cooperation with DC, we can bring lots of achievements for Kiphire District,” he added.
The new DC Kiphire Temsuwati Longkumer during his address highlighted on poor road condition. “Kiphire being on the remotest part of Nagaland, we need good roads and transportation, as that is the way the district can progress and develop,” he said. Longkumer also asserted that he would work with justice, and he sought cooperation of the people.
During the session, special number was presented by Marlin Thonger. Speech on behalf of Hq. Officers was delivered by D Robin ADC HQ while short speeches were also said by officers, staffs and leaders that include- Vekusheyi Rakho ADC Pungro, SP Kiphire Chinese Chakhesang, Zisepi Hd. Asst., Sepikyu Hd. DB HQ., and L Kipitong VP USLP. Vote of thanks was spoken by Chubasanen EAC Kiusam, and Chubamongla EAC chaired the programme.
