Dimapur, April 25 (MExN): Altogether 35 participants from blocks and town attended a Farmer-Scientist Interaction programme conducted by ATMA Mokokchung on April 25 at DAO Conference Hall, Mokokchung. A press note informed that the programme was chaired by Dr. Lanunochetla (SMS Jr, DAO Mokokchung) and the resource persons at the programme were Dr. Rongsensusang (SMS Vety, KVK Yisemyong) and Dr. Aoyimsen (VAS, PH).
Problems on high mortality rate in piglets; diseases, breeding, slow growth rate and selection of better breeds; fertility, and pre-weaning and hygiene highlighted by the farmers were discussed during the interaction programme.
