Tseminyu, May 29 (MExN): Henbenji Farmers Club, Tseminyu organized one day training under the theme ‘Meet the expert’ on May 26 at the new church building complex of Henbenji village on May 26.
The resource persons for the programme were Dr. Gwasenlo Tep, VAS, SDAO Tseminyu, Longma Yanger, SMS (Agri. Ext), KVK Kohima, and Arhunlo Semp, Development Officer, CRBC, Zumpha.
A press release informed that Dr. Gwasenlo Tep spoke on piggery management and emphasized that the locally produced pork are insufficient to meet the demand of the state. As such, it is imported from outside creating big opportunity for piggery enterprise to emerge in a larger way.
Longma Yanger spoke on group management. Contribution of individual efforts moulded together, he said, could strengthen the unity and mindset of the Club members.
Arhunlo Semp shared on financial planning and also encouraged the group members to work as a unit rather than having an individualistic approach.
