Kiphire, July 7 (MExN): Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Longmatra block in collaboration with Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) organized training on nutritional gardening at Thetheyo village on July 6.
The programme, chaired by Block Technology Manager Moakumzuk, started with a brief introduction on Krishi Kalyan Abhiyan.
Resource person Tsarila Sangtam, ATM Longmatra block trained the farmers on how nutritional gardening can be used for better living and uplifting their standard, a press release informed. She also spoke on land preparation, spacing and intercultural operations to be maintained. Tsarila encouraged the farmers to take up more farming activities which will help raise their income. A total of 15 farmers attended the training where vegetable seeds were distributed.
