Dimapur, June 21 (MExN): The live webcasting of the interaction of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi interaction with the farmers across the country was hosted at Community Hall, Porba village of the Phek district, organised by Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK)-Phek of ICAR-NRC on Mithun on June 20.
A total of 87 farmers from different villages of Phek district witnessed the interaction.
The gist of the interactive session was translated in local dialect for a better understanding of the local farmers and the immense role of grass root institutes like KVK, ATMA, DRDA, NGOs and other district organizations in disseminating scientific technologies to the agrarian community was also explained.

The Village Council Members, youth leaders, and KVK officials advised the farmers to adopt scientific farming practices for doubling the income. More than 25 people including the staff members of National Research Centre on Mithun, Medziphema also witnessed the live telecast of the interaction of Hon’ble PM in its Medziphema campus.
