DIMAPUR, JULY 11 (MExN): The Father's House Church in Chumüokedima reopened its doors for worship while following all safety protocols as prescribed by the government. All those who attended the service had to go through thermal screening, safe entry check in and out, automatic body sanitizing chamber and make use of hand sanitizers installed at the Church premises. A press release from the Senior Pastor of the Church informed that worshippers were made to ensure physical distancing and at the end of the service, handouts on safety precautions and masks were distributed.

The Church had formed an Expert Health Committee to help spread awareness for prevention, diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19. Online transaction for giving was encouraged and holy communion was served through self service.

The First service saw attendance of about 50 people due to the cap on the seating capacity. Worship and prayer followed a short sermon by the Senior Pastor Robert Kikon on ‘How words can change our lives around.’
