Fazl Ali College conducts extension programmes

MOKOKCHUNG, FEBRUARY 29 (MExN): Faculty members of Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung had an interaction program with Lemsachenlok Society of Longleng on February 22 in Yaongyimchen village. 


During the program, talks were presented by Dr Bendangtemjen and Dr Tsukjemchila of the Department of Geography, P Tiatemsu from the Department of Botany and Imsuyanger from the Department of Zoology on topics dealing with Integrated Farming and Potentials of Biodiversity Conservation. 


The program was a collaborative initiative of Lemsachenlok Society chaired by Y Nuklu Phom and Department of Geography, Fazl Ali College as a community extension service program of the College and was attended by members of Yaongyimchen, Alayong and Sunglo villages. Earlier, Lemsachenlok Society won the India Biodiversity Awards 2018 for Conservation of Wildlife Species from the National Biodiversity Authority.


Meanwhile, the Department of Philosophy, Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung conducted a program called Philosophy 2020 at Nagaland Bible College, Mokokchung on February 26 as a part of its ongoing extension services. 


During the program, talks were delivered by Kevezai Tureng on the topic, “Philosophy?” and Dr. Bendanginla on the topic “Importance of Ethics in a Students’ Life”, both being Assistant Professors of the Department of Philosophy at Fazl Ali College. Tiarenla, Associate Professor was the moderator for the event. The program was attended by faculty members and students of Nagaland Bible College.
