Dimapur, November 18 (MExN): The Assistant Director Food & Civil Supplies, Dimapur has reminded all beneficiaries under Dimapur, Niuland and Chümoukedima districts to apply for Aadhar enrolment in order to receive subsidies under the National Food Security Act (NFSA). Informing this in a circular on Friday, the Assistant Director S Kavito Aomi stated that the Department of Food & Public Distribution, New Delhi, has extended Aadhaar Enrolment/Application till December 31, 2022. “Hence, beneficiaries who do not possess the Aadhaar numbers or are yet to enroll for Aadhaar and are desirous of availing subsidies under NFSA should make application for Aadhaar enrollment,” since individual beneficiaries under NFSA need to furnish proof of Aadhaar number to receive subsidies.
