Phek, August 3 (MExN): Razeba Catholic community of St. Ignatius Parish celebrated the Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola on July 30 with Rev. Fr. Anthony Rozu Dukru, the former Vice-Principal of St. Joseph’s College, Jakhama as the main celebrant.
Rev. Fr. Anthony Rozu Dukru in his homily enlightened the community by quoting the life example of St. Ignatius of Loyola who stood for Christ. “We too ought to imitate him and be a source of inspiration to win souls for the greater glory of God, Rev. Fr. Dukru stated, according to a press release.
The highlights of the celebrations included festal songs, choreography, action songs and special items presented by the parish youth, mothers’ association and Catechism children.
Earlier, Rev. Fr. James Sangtam pronounced words of welcome, while Michael Krocha proposed the vote of thanks.
