Mumbai, (IANS) Fashion designer Anita Dongre, who added a dose of 'desi' glam with Indian weaves to the ongoing Make in India week with a special showcase, says she is filled with pride to be associated with the initiative. Dongre, who came up with Grassroot -- a sustainable handcrafted contemporary brand from the House of Anita Dongre -- showcased a grand opening for the Maharashtra Textile Day at the iconic Prince of Wales museum here on Wednesday as a part of the Make In India Week, read a statement. "I feel so special and proud to be a part of the show. I showcased at a setting that I regularly visited as a student of fashion design -- the iconic Prince of Wales museum. A beautiful venue, a fabulous show and most of all a wonderful audience. The show makes me proud to be an Indian," Dongre told IANS.
