Kohima, April 13 (MExN): Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) “in the interest of the nation” has discharged Major Kekong Yim, 19th Bn. & 7th Bde. E/C from the Naga Army with immediate effect. “This discharge order has been necessitated in view of the fact that he has been forcefully collecting taxes for his own vested interest and bringing shame and disgrace to the Naga Army and the Government,” stated a press release from Lieut. Gen. TM Rhakho, C-in-C, Naga Army, FGN. Further, this order has been taken in compliance with Naga Army Rules and Regulation, it added.
