FGN on Muivah’s journey in Nagaland

Dimapur, June 16 (MExN): The Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) has stated that a lot of questions are raised by the people over the proposed plan of Muivah’s journey in Nagaland and that it was necessary to study the matter in its proper perspective and remove the present commotion arising out of it. “It is for Muivah to express himself transparently and it is the concern of our people to understand whether his visit is in the true spirit of love, peace and brotherhood or he has got some hidden agenda behind the screen”, stated a press note from the FGN issued by the Deputy Secretary Ministry of Raliwali (MIP).

The FGN also stated that despite thirty years of mistrust and accusations, hatred and animosity, fratricidal killings and stagnation of Naga National progress, “it is a welcome note if Muivah is sincere to admit where he had been wrong”. “If Muivah meant that he got his political inspiration from the NNC and if he retracts his condemnation of AZ Phizo, there is no need for further confrontation”, the FGN stated and added that the “Shillong Accord of 1975, the theme on which partition of the nation was pivoted in 1980 need no longer be a barrier to Naga unity”.
