Dimapur, October 29 (MExN): The Midan Peyu Yimkhiung Region of the Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) has conveyed its firm support for the leadership of Brigadier (Retd) S. Singnya as the Kedahge of the NNC/FGN.
This decision was made during a joint meeting with all the Yimkhiung Region Kilonsers, Deputy Kilonsers, Tatars, Secretaries, Naga Army Officers, and other dignitaries on October 28, where they deliberated on the impeachment of Kedallo Zhopra Vero, which occurred on October 22 at Sanglao Village.
The Yimkhiung Region held serious discussions regarding this matter and agreed to firmly support Kedahge Singnya, stated a press release from Rhakho, Midan Peyu, FGN Yimkhiung Region received here.
The region further condemned and declared the press statement announcing Vero as Kedahge as "invalid," asserting that it was absolutely unconstitutional according to the Nagaland Federal Yehzabo.
In this connection, the Yimkhiung Region, on behalf of the government, stated that the NNC/FGN led by Singnya stands firmly on all political matters and urged the people not to be confused.
