Fifteen people appointed to posts of EAC

Kohima, April 20 (MExN): The Governor of Nagaland has appointed 15 people to the posts of Extra Assistant Commissioner (EAC) in the Junior Grade of Nagaland Civil Service (NCS).  

According to a notification from Chief Secretary Temjen Toy, the appointees will be on probation for a period of two years with effect from date of joining.  

On completion of the probation period, they will be considered for service confirmation subject to fulfillment of condition as prescribed in the NCS Rules, it said.  

The appointees have been directed to report to the Director, Administrative Training Institute (ATI), Nagaland, Kohima on April 23 at 9:30 am for completion of joining formalities. The training will commence from April 24. The appointees will remain attached to the ATI till the training is over.  

“This appointment order is provisional and subject to verification of character & antecedents. In case of false declaration/wrong information, the provisional appointment will be cancelled forthwith and other criminal/legal action shall be initiated,” the notification said.  

Formal appointment order will be issued on receipt of the duly verified character and antecedent reports, it added.
