Film Appreciation Course in Kohima ends

Kohima, February 3 (MExN): The phase two of the trainings offered by the Film & Television Institute of India (FTII) in collaboration with the Directorate of Information & Public Relations concluded with the five-day Film Appreciation Course at DIPR Conference Hall, Kohima on February 2.

Speaking at the valedictory programme, the Resource Person of the course, Niyaz Mujawar expressed the importance of educating oneself with visual art. Joint Director IPR, Asangla Imsong appreciated FTII for the two year collaboration and anticipates future ventures with the Institute. 

During the five day course, the students were taught different aspects of film making such as cinematography, sounds, lighting and editing through a series of lectures and screening of films on varied genres. The course was well attended by film makers and film enthusiasts from across the state.
