Mokokchung, June 25 (MExN): A Financial Literacy Camp (FLC) under FIF managed by NABARD was organized by Care and Support Society, Mokokchung in collaboration with Bank of Baroda (BoB) at Sabangya Compound on June 24. S. Amarjit Mangang, DDM, NABARD informed the villagers about the objectives and significance of financial inclusion. He highlighted the role played by NABARD in financial inclusion programme. He further shared in detail the Farmers Club, SHG & JLG programme and role of NABARD in creating infrastructure in the district.
L. John Guite, Joint Manager, BoB Mokokchung shared the importance of banking, savings, financial planning. He shared various financial services offered by the banks for the general public. He further highlighted PMJDY, PMSBY, PMJJBY and APY in details.
The programme, sponsored by NABARD, was chaired by Imchawati Kichu, Managing Director, Care and Support Society.
