Financial Literacy Week observed in Wokha

Wokha, February 11 (MExN): Lead Bank Office, Wokha & Zunheboto organized a Financial Literacy Week (FLW) under the theme ‘Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs)’ at Team Metamorphosis Office, Tsumang- A Colony Wokha town on February 11. 


RK Kiten, Lead Bank Manager was the resource person who shared on Colloteral free loans, Trade receivables discounting system, Formalization and Timely repayment of loans. He also emphasized on the schemes which the bank provides such as the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti  Bima Yojana (a life insurance policy worth 2 lakh at just Rs 330 per annum), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (accident assurance worth Rs 2 lakh at just  Rs 12 per annum) and the Atal Pension Yojana (minimum investment maximum benefits during old age).


As per a press release from M James Tungoe, Chief, Team Metamorphosis the main aim behind the initiative is to create financial awareness among bank customers about financial products and services, good financial practices and digitization.


Earlier, Chief Team Metamorphosis, M James Tungoe welcomed the participants which consisted of SHGs, farmers and entrepreneurs.
