Finger painting for preschoolers

Preschoolers from ages 2 to 5 had a wonderful experience at a free finger painting workshop conducted by Little Kingdom Academy, Khermahal, Dimapur. Fun and creative, the little ones experienced playing with colours, enjoying the feel and texture of finger paints and created interesting designs.  

In an interaction with the media, Proprietor of the academy, Mhonchumi Lotha stated, “Little Kingdom Academy is promoting Finger Painting as one of the many core activities for a balanced education routine that integrates play and real life learning for little kids.” It believes that ‘Play’ should be the primary medium for preschool learning and that education goes beyond just basic text book learning. Finger painting develops not only an individual’s physical skills but also social, emotional, intellectual and language skills.
