A fire incident occurred at Doyapur Bazar under Dhansiripar Sub-Division, Chümoukedima on April 8.
Chümoukedima, April 10 (MExN): A fire incident occurred at Doyapur Bazar under Dhansiripar Sub-Division, Chümoukedima at around 8:45 pm on April 8. The fire gutted eight shops and destroyed goods worth Rs 15 lakh, however, there was no any report of causality, informed a press release from Thangnodao Naiding, Secretary, Doyapur Bazar Committee, Chümoukedima.
The cause of the fire is not yet known, he added while stating that fire brigades from Dimapur and police personnel from Dhansiripar Police Outpost arrived and controlled the fire from spreading further.
The Doyapur Bazar Committee has appreciated all the neighbors, Police personnel, Fire brigade for their help during the fire incident.
