A fire broke out at Khuwaboto Colony (Jail Colony) in Zunheboto on March 19. However, no casualties or major damage were reported.
According to sources, residents of the colony, along with personnel from the Fire and Emergency Services Department, worked together to contain the blaze. It was extinguished with the arrival of fire brigade.
The cause of the fire remains unknown. Notably, this is not the first fire-related incident in the area, as similar occurrences have been reported in previous years, with the causes or perpetrators remaining unknown.
