Following the report of a fire incident, fire fighters arrive at Zeliang Colony, Burma Camp, Dimapur on September 14. Fire & Emergency Services mobilized a quick response team from Fire Station, Dimapur (Central) to control the fire and pressed two fire tenders into action. “Due to timely response from Fire Personnel, properties worth over Rs 10 lakh could be salvaged and prevented the fire from spreading and also the gas cylinder from explosion,” a report from the Fire & Emergency Services department informed. According to the report “there was no casualty. Cause of fire is due to commercial LPG cylinder hose leakages.” The response team was led by Duty Commander ASI G Niamlungpou Gonmei.
