Another gunfight was reported along the Indo-Myanmar international border on October 21. Military sources described the incident as a minor hit and run attack on an Assam Rifles post near the International Centre at Dan village, Noklak district. There was no report of any casualty. It could not be ascertained who was behind the attack.
