Dimapur | May 22: The first-ever comprehensive songbook in Tenyidie, composed and written singlehanded by a renowned Angami songwriter and musician of the last century, was dedicated and released by Pastor Khriesituo Z. Savino, Pastor, Baptist Revival Church Kuda, at the church premises today.
The songbook, entitled ‘Shieshülie!’, a collection of over 100 songs in Tenyidie, composed and written by late Miakhrielie Miachieo, contains mostly gospel and devotional songs apart from some anthems and is being published by his children. The songs in the songbook were arranged and edited by his brother Khosa Miachieo. Late Miakhrielie Miachieo was a noted songwriter, musician and church leader during his lifetime. He died in the year 2000.
Dedicating the songbook to the Lord, Pastor Khriesituo Savino recalled late Miachieo’s dedication to the Lord and his services to the church in various capacities till his death.
Vilhoulie Miachieo, Deacon and youngest brother, briefly shared the life of late Miakhrielie on behalf of the family.
