The first edition of ‘Mr. & Miss Fame’, a beauty pageant in aid of Sharon Orphanage Home is scheduled to take place today at Hotel Acacia from 5:00 pm onwards. Organised by Fashion Trendsetters and co-sponsored by Zulus Design and Printing, the event will feature 19 (10 males and 9 females) participants from Nagaland and four designers who would display their designs in three different categories i.e., traditional, casual and formal. The chief judge for the event would be Imlibenla Wati, Miss Super Talent 2016 runner-up, fusion fashion designer Toichong Phom and Mengo Suokhrie, actor and singer. Renowned Manipuri actress Sophia Sapam who has acted in more than 200 Manipuri films already would be a special guest while producer of Manipuri film industry Dr. S. Kumar would be the guest of honour for the occasion. The crew of the charity event include Thritong Sangtam, director, Nilivi Yepthomi, supervisor, Lisemong Sangtam, asst. director, Imtiben Jamir, asst. supervisor and Nagamese film director S Atae Konyak. According to the director, in the subsequent seasons of the show, which would be an annual event, would include other orphanages and establishments which need public support. The other sponsors of the event include The Himalayan Beans, Kristi Fashion Botique.
