A total of eleven bands on Saturday auditioned for the first edition of Summer Beat Contest, Version 1.0 here at Town Hall. The first day of the beat contest initiated by Blend Productions, had bands from different districts of the state as well as from neighboring states and put up a spectacular show. Of the eleven bands that performed, seven have been selected for the next level by the panel of judges, which include Moanungsang, propitiator of Soloiest and winner of Nagaland Idol, Incipit drummer Atsaba and iconic drummer Rovi Sangma on the basis of the teamwork, sportsmanship and skills poured by the bands in their performances.
